October 7 Memorial

The event features Israeli Journalist Nathan Jeffay as keynote speaker. It will also include a ceremony created for the event on the basis of Yom HaShoah. Posters with the names of victims and fallen defenders will be in the room, along with a list of murdered hostages. People will receive passports with the names of hostages still alive. Elected officials have been invited. All Jewish organizations have partnered with us. Congregations in the Poconos will gather their own people in their buildings to participate through an interactive Zoom.
Poconos partners are Congregation Beth Israel of Honesdale, Congregation B'nai Harim of Pocono Pines, Temple Israel and the Jewish Resource center in Stroudsburg. The Jewish Fellowship of Hemlock Farms in Lord's Valley will be bussing their people in to Scranton. Scranton Partners are the Scranton JCC, Temple Israel of Scranton, Temple Hesed, Machzikei Hadas, Chabad of the Abingtons and Congregation Beth Shalom.
