About the Event
Join us at the JCA or at any participating partner location, for a Statewide evening of remembrance, reflection, and hope. This program will feature songs, poetry, prayers, a candlelight vigil, and testimony from all across the State of Maine. We are especially honored to have keynote speaker Keren Borovsky Oren, an Israeli survivor from Kibbutz Re'im, join us to share her experiences from that terrible day and beyond, but also share what gives her hope for the future. Let us come together, as one people, to usher in hope, healing, and ultimately, peace.
Statewide Participation: Recognizing the importance of accessibility and inclusion, the event will be simultaneously hosted at partner locations throughout Maine. Each location will follow the same program format, ensuring a cohesive statewide experience.
Participating partner organizations via Zoom include: Temple Shalom (Auburn), Temple Beth El (Augusta), Congregation Beth Israel (Bath), Beth Israel Congregation (Waterville), and Adas Yoshuron (Rockville). This program is also supported by Congregation Bet Ha'am (South Portland), Temple Beth El (Portland), and Etz Chaim Synagogue (Portland).
